Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jorma Erkkila (ranked 24274 p4p, 5557 weight class) and Skyler Gibson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jorma Erkkila looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.
Gibson wants to clinch but Erkkila slips to the side
and Erkkila makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

It looks like Skyler Gibson has been cut.

and Erkkila scores with a counter punch that sends Gibson to the canvas! Erkkila smells blood - he's punishing Gibson with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Gibson has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

A relieved looking Jorma Erkkila thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
