The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Oneill clinches up against the cage.
Oneill is looking to break free of the clinch but Remington has double underhooks.
Oneill wants to get back to striking at distance but Remington won't allow it.

Oneill pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Oneill tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Oneill throws a series of punches but Remington moves out of range.
Oneill throws a head kick that misses.

Remington closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Oneill's guard.
Remington passes into half guard.
Remington working over Oneill with some ground and pound. Oneill looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

Oneill is trying to stand back up but Remington is controlling him
Remington landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Remington lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Oneill is rocked!
Remington slips a nice elbow through Oneill's hands, connecting with Oneill's forehead.
Oneill is still in real trouble! Can Remington finish him?
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!
Remington trying to pass the guard but Oneill defending well.
Remington lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Oneill quite badly. Oneill pulls Remington in close trying to recover. Remington postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Oneill on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Oneill doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Reese Remington!
A relieved looking Reese Remington thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
Cason Oneill spoke after the fight, saying 'thanks to my fans who believe in me sorry guys,im coming better next time'.
