Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Krooninen Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Seppo Taalasmaa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Gracie might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Cockney Rejects - Go Down Fighting. Taalasmaa has chosen J.Karjalainen - Missä se Väinö on? as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Krooninen Gracie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Seppo Taalasmaa!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Tarja Halkonen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Taalasmaa.
Taalasmaa throws a push kick but Gracie slaps the foot to one side.
Gracie shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Gracie was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Gracie wants to take his opponent's back but Taalasmaa doesn't allow it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Taalasmaa manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Gracie is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Taalasmaa sees it coming and defends easily.
Taalasmaa is looking to control Gracie's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Taalasmaa avoid being mounted?
Gracie controlling the pace.
Taalasmaa is trying to stand.
Taalasmaa is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Gracie wants to pass the guard but Taalasmaa is defending well.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Taalasmaa can do anything to dispel that myth.

Taalasmaa is not content to let Gracie control the position.
Gracie looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Taalasmaa throws a right hand that Gracie ducks under and follows up with a left that Gracie also avoids with ease.
Gracie fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Gracie takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Gracie feints and as Taalasmaa raises his hands in defense, Gracie changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Taalasmaa tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Taalasmaa wants to stand and escape but Gracie is having none of it.
Taalasmaa can't keep his opponent in guard - Gracie advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Gracie passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Taalasmaa!
Gracie trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Taalasmaa really wants to buck Gracie off and get back to his feet.

Taalasmaa gets back to half guard.
Gracie trying to control the action but Taalasmaa is working from the bottom.
Taalasmaa has one foot on Gracie's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Taalasmaa lands a body shot.
Nice takedown defense from Taalasmaa. No joy for Gracie on that attempt.

Taalasmaa wants to stand up but Gracie is controlling him.
Gracie drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gracie jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Taalasmaa wants to stand and escape but Gracie is having none of it.

Gracie pushes down on Taalasmaa's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Taalasmaa wants to get back to his feet.
Gracie is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Taalasmaa is looking for a sweep. Gracie is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Taalasmaa is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Gracie trying to control the action but Taalasmaa is working from the bottom.
Gracie has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Taalasmaa has given up his back.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Krooninen Gracie will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Gracie looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Taalasmaa!
Gracie seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Taalasmaa is holding on tight.
Taalasmaa wants to try and get back to his feet.
Gracie takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Taalasmaa is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Taalasmaa tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Taalasmaa is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
Gracie has isolated one of Taalasmaa's arms. Taalasmaa looking to fight him off but Gracie twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
