The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Bart Greer and Winston Alpacca.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Montana rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Violet moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Montana is trying hard to land a takedown here. Violet sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Violet throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Montana shoots for a takedown but Violet saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Montana closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Violet breaks the clinch.

Violet closes the distance and pushes Montana back into the cage.

Violet tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Montana just stands there and leans against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A frustrated look appears on Montana's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Montana decides to pull guard.

Violet decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Montana, up you get!
Montana shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Violet pinned against the cage. Violet gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Violet manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Montana on his heels. He'll look to pass Montana's guard now, I'm sure.
