PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Boyko Mitcheck (ranked 4012 p4p, 4145 weight class) and Mr Pancit (ranked 436 p4p, 453 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Boyko Mitcheck!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mr Pancit!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Dirk Anderson and Bart Greer.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pancit has closed the distance and engaged Mitcheck in a clinch.
Pancit tries to score a body lock takedown but Mitcheck shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Mitcheck gets underhooks to prevent Pancit's takedown attempt.

Pancit gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

Mitcheck looking for a guillotine here but Pancit defends easily.

Mitcheck escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Pancit gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Mitcheck might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Pancit drops back looking for a leg! Mitcheck is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Mitcheck manages to kick Pancit off! Pancit jumps back into Mitcheck's guard.

Mitcheck working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Pancit doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Pancit manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Mitcheck has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Pancit can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Mitcheck throws a hook to the side of Pancit's head but Pancit sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Pancit got a little sloppy there for a moment and Mitcheck has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Pancit has managed to get both his arms back between Mitcheck's legs - danger averted.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Mitcheck enables Pancit to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Mitcheck manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Pancit throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Mitcheck tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Pancit is in Mitcheck's guard.

Mitcheck is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Pancit rolls with it to try and escape but Mitcheck cranks on the arm and Pancit is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
