Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Edmund Blackadder!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Don Crenshaw!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Donald Grub and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blackadder lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Crenshaw moves away from the strike by Blackadder.
Blackadder throws a lazy right hand but Crenshaw sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Blackadder checks a low kick from Crenshaw.
Blackadder is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Crenshaw.
Nice defenses there by Crenshaw.
Blackadder misses with a straight right.
Crenshaw throws a body punch but Blackadder moves out of range.
Blackadder looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Crenshaw blocks a jab.
Crenshaw feints a jab promting Blackadder to slip. Crenshaw then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Blackadder slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Blackadder slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Blackadder uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Crenshaw.
Blackadder misses with a left hand

and Crenshaw counters with a head kick that drops Blackadder to the mat! Blackadder scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

Blackadder is rocked!
We've been informed that Crenshaw has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Blackadder throws a hook but Crenshaw avoids it easily.
Oh Blackadder is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Edmund Blackadder seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Blackadder lands a jab to the head.

Crenshaw throws a right and a left that both miss.
Blackadder throws an overhand right that lands on Crenshaw's shoulder, as Crenshaw tries to avoid the shot.
Blackadder seems to have got his legs back now.
Blackadder keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Crenshaw.
Blackadder is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Crenshaw just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Blackadder has gone limp and this one is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Don Crenshaw!
An out of breath Don Crenshaw thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
