Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Emmerson Mile (ranked 134 p4p, 534 weight class) and Ante Petric (ranked 12 p4p, 57 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Emmerson Mile!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ante Petric!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Daniel Blasius and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petric digs a good hook to Mile's body.
Mile tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Petric cracks Mile with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Mile lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Mile with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Petric tries to keep at a distance but Mile has taken the fight into the clinch.
Petric scores with a shot to the side of Mile's head.
Mile blocks a body shot from Petric.
Mile manages to break the clinch.
Petric misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Mile.
Mile with a nice calf kick.
Mile throws a leg kick
and Petric counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mile lands a high kick!
Petric checks a leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Petric blocks a head kick by Mile.
Petric takes a kick to the side of the head.
It looks like Ante Petric has been cut.
Mile drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Petric has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Mile looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Mile tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Petric is able to avoid easily.
Mile tries to land a front kick but Petric steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Petric on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Mile. Mile obviously looking to wear him down.
Petric scores with a jab to the body.
Petric looks to throw the jab but Mile is out of range.
Petric lands with a right hand.
Petric drops Mile with a naaaaasty hook - Mile is in real trouble here! Petric dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ante Petric!
