PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rhys Cadwgan (ranked 4010 p4p, 4249 weight class) and Nehemiah Moreno (ranked 251 p4p, 259 weight class). Cadwgan kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Squeeze the Fruit - The Commodores. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moreno with a nice calf kick.

Cadwgan on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Cadwgan moves in looking to clinch but Moreno pushes him off.

Cadwgan bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Moreno's guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Cadwgan has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Moreno can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Cadwgan manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Moreno manages to get himself to full guard.

Moreno uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Cadwgan.
Cadwgan is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
