PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sorachi Iwamizawa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Horato Muchada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Horato Muchada told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Taro Takaoka and Yukihiro Yamamoto.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Iwamizawa scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Muchada tries to roll over but Iwamizawa keeps him under control.

Iwamizawa uses his free foot to push down on Muchada's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Muchada.

Iwamizawa swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Muchada is now in Iwamizawa's guard. A big mistake from Iwamizawa there, giving up the dominant position!

Muchada thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Iwamizawa escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Muchada gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Muchada stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Iwamizawa swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
