Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ray Ray Holt (ranked 4336 p4p, 4533 weight class) and Javon Jefferson (ranked 420 p4p, 432 weight class). The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holt throws an off balance right hand
and Holt takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Holt keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Jefferson.
Jefferson's coach down at Gold Samurai's Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Jefferson's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Holt lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Jefferson has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Jefferson and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Holt throws a looping overhand right but Jefferson ducks down to avoid it.

The fighters circle momentarily. Jefferson darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Holt misses with a body shot.
Jefferson looks to land a right hand but Holt moved out of range.

and Jefferson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

A slow jab from Jefferson misses its intended target.
Holt moves out of range of the strikes.
Jefferson missing with a left hand there. Holt was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Jefferson throws a one two combo.
A punch lands to the side of Jefferson 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Nice defenses there by Holt.
Holt slips a straight right by Jefferson.

Jefferson throws an overhand right that lands on Holt's shoulder, as Holt tries to avoid the shot.
Jefferson fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Holt throws a head kick but Jefferson moves out of range.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Holt avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Jefferson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Holt throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Jefferson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Danga de danga de dang - Jefferson scores with a four punch combination!

It looks like Ray Ray Holt has been cut.
Holt is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Jefferson's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.
Holt is breathing heavily.
Holt catches Jefferson with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Holt drops his hands momentarily and Jefferson takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

and Jefferson counters with a deadly accurate combination that rocks Holt badly! He tries to strike back but Jefferson puts an end to that with another precision combo that knocks Holt out cold! Oh man, Holt will never hear the end of this one!
