Mbeki's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Intro. McGuire has chosen Beartooth - You Never Know as his entrance music. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mbeki shoots in and gets a takedown into McGuire's guard.

Mbeki drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Mbeki jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
McGuire wants to stand and escape but Mbeki is having none of it.

McGuire really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mbeki. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mbeki is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Mbeki prevents McGuire from standing back up.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if McGuire can do anything to dispel that myth.
Mbeki has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
