Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Turner Crocop (ranked 4146 p4p, 4142 weight class) and Sona The Islander (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crocop throws a head kick that The Islander semi-blocks.

It looks like Sona The Islander has been cut.

The Islander takes the fight into the clinch.
Crocop wants to get back to striking at distance but The Islander won't allow it.

The Islander has Crocop pressed against the cage, preventing Crocop from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Crocop blocks an uppercut.

The Islander drops his hands momentarily and Crocop takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Crocop wants to stand up but The Islander is controlling him.
The Islander works over Crocop with some ground and pound from guard.

The Islander postures up and lands a big shot to Crocop's brow.
Crocop is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst The Islander is controlling him.
The Islander is in close to Crocop's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Crocop might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Crocop wants to stand up but The Islander is controlling him.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Let's hope that The Islander has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The Islander stands up over Crocop, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
The Islander stops Crocop from standing up.
The Islander chips away with some ground and pound.
Crocop wants to get back to his feet but The Islander is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Crocop trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
The Islander is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.

The Islander shoots in for a double leg but Crocop sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Crocop thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on The Islander if he has to take too many more of those.
Crocop throws a head kick but The Islander moves out of range.
Crocop takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Crocop is breathing heavily.

The Islander cracks Crocop with a big right hand and Crocop goes down!

Turner Crocop's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
The Islander seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
