Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yuri Prochazka (ranked 3470 p4p, 2211 weight class) and Heavy Zak Dos (ranked 186 p4p, 121 weight class). Heavy Zak Dos has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yuri Prochazka!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Heavy Zak Dos!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Arvi Lind and Johanna Lukiainen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Prochazka.
Zak Dos is being controlled here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Prochazka scoring with punches and elbows.

Prochazka wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Zak Dos, who protects the arm well.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Zak Dos can do anything to dispel that myth.
Prochazka in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Prochazka tries to move to mount but Zak Dos blocks the move with his legs.

Prochazka has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Zak Dos is looking to get back to his feet here but Prochazka is keeping cool and he's managed to take Zak Dos's back.

In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.

A relieved looking Yuri Prochazka thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
