Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Deandre Furgenson (ranked 5827 p4p, 4008 weight class) and Kajal Bisht (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Furgenson's entrance music is call me revenge. A fine choice. Deandre Furgenson has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Deandre Furgenson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kajal Bisht!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Wesley Smith and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Furgenson shoots for a takedown but Bisht saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Furgenson misses with a body kick.
Furgenson is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Bisht takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Furgenson takes one to the chin there.
Nice shot lands for Bisht.
Furgenson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Bisht defends it nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bisht lands the left hand.
Furgenson tries to close the distance and clinch but Bisht swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Furgenson lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Furgenson!
The fight stays on the outside here - Furgenson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Bisht circles away from the clinch attempt.
Furgenson walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Bisht leaves Furgenson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Deandre Furgenson. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Furgenson takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

A little jabbing left from Bisht on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Bisht lands a jab to Furgenson's midsection.
Furgenson is breathing heavily.
Good exchange - Bisht coming out on top.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Furgenson takes one to the side of the head.
Kajal Bisht seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bisht goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Bisht lands a jab.
Bisht swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Bisht lands a nice hook to Furgenson's body. Furgenson takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

A jab-cross combination lands for Bisht and sends Furgenson crashing to the mat! Bisht follows him down to the mat - Furgenson regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

Furgenson is rocked!
Furgenson wants to control but Bisht passes into side.
Oh Furgenson is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Bisht decides to stand up, so the ref orders Furgenson to his feet.
Furgenson seems to have got his legs back now.
Bisht scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Furgenson doesn't seem bothered though.

Bisht scores with a nice head shot.
A decent looking cross lands there for Bisht.
Bisht ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Bisht lands a nice shot that snaps Furgenson's head back.
Bisht getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Bisht changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Furgenson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Bisht walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Furgenson drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Bisht swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Furgenson's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kajal Bisht!
