Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jack Nice (ranked 2317 p4p, 24772 weight class) and Bennett Knightley (ranked 271 p4p, 545 weight class). Nice kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is “Warped” RHCP. Knightley has chosen Hang ‘Em High - NCR as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice body punch from Nice.
Bennett Knightley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Knightley misses with a left hand
and Nice counters by moving into the clinch.

Nice drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Nice lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Knightley misses with the head strike.

Nice has Knightley pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Nice pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Knightley tumbling to the mat - Nice dives into Knightley's guard.

Knightley is looking to control Nice's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Knightley avoid being mounted?
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Knightley can do anything to dispel that myth.
Nice works his way into full mount!
Knightley tries to lock up and control but Nice gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Nice fails to move to back control.
Nice definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Nice is working hard here to advance position.
Nice quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Nice but it's paid off an Knightley is forced to tap! Nice work by Nice.
