Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Lil Tecca (ranked 3948 p4p, 4171 weight class) and Lukas Haley (ranked 381 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haley leaves Tecca with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Tecca lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Lil Tecca seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Haley misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Haley displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Tecca.
Tecca shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Haley as he avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lil Tecca. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Tecca changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Haley tries to avoid it but Tecca manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Haley to the ground. Haley escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Tecca shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Haley is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Haley is controlling Tecca's position as best he can from this difficult position.

Haley is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Haley looking to hit a scissor sweep but Tecca is one step ahead there.
Haley bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Tecca's guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Haley content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Haley lands a couple of elbows.
Haley is working Tecca over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

It looks like Haley might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Tecca has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Haley can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tecca can't keep his opponent in guard - Haley advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Haley is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Tecca doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Haley.
Haley content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Haley working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Lukas Haley dominated that round.
That's time! Tecca's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Haley tries to close the distance and clinch but Tecca swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Tecca throws a head kick but Haley moves out of range.
Tecca scores with a one two! Haley had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Tecca shoots in but no luck this time.

Haley looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Tecca is looking to get back to is feet but Haley passes into side control.
Haley has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Tecca!
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Haley cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Tecca slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Haley is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Tecca!
Haley has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Haley lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Tecca hang on?
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Haley is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Tecca to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Tecca shrugs it off.

Haley is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Haley extends the arm and Tecca is forced to tap!
