Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Pete Tyler!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Cyrus Prix!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Prix throws a lazy uppercut
and Tyler counters with a nice uppercut.
It looks like Cyrus Prix has been cut.
Tyler takes one to the chin there.
It looks like Pete Tyler has been cut.
Prix misses with a low kick.
Prix throws a right hand that misses
and Tyler counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Prix throws an overhand right that lands on Tyler's shoulder, as Tyler tries to avoid the shot.
Tyler takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Tyler tries to land a front kick but Prix steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Tyler rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Prix cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Prix misses with a hook
and Tyler counters with a straight right hand.
Prix tests Tyler's chin there with a solid looking shot.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A big left from Prix misses.
Cyrus Prix seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tyler moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Prix loads up on a big right hand but Tyler slips the punch.
Tyler sizes up Prix with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
That has opened up Cyrus Prix's cut even more.
A shot to the body from Prix misses
and Tyler makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Prix really felt that one!
Prix looks winded!
Tyler lands with a nice body kick.
Tyler scores with a sloppy right hand. Prix should have avoided that one.
Prix misses with a lunging right hand
and Tyler comes in over the top with a devastating right hand! Prix stumbles back against the cage, looking to regain his senses but Tyler is on him like rabid pit bull! Prix slumps to the ground under a storm of punches and this fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Pete Tyler!
After winning the bout, Pete Tyler thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
