Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jah Kid (ranked 785 p4p, 1285 weight class) and JD Drake (ranked 55 p4p, 84 weight class). Kid comes to the cage accompanied by Walk - Pantera. Drake has chosen Born in the USA by - Bruce Springstein as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. JD Drake will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jah Kid!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, JD Drake!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Andrew Berry and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drake misses with a combination
and Kid decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Drake's guard.
Kid not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Drake is trying to control the position but Kid postures up.

Kid can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Drake is looking to escape.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Drake is desperately trying to improve his position but Kid has a good base and remains in mount.
Drake really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kid. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Kid is working for a guillotine from mount but Drake frees his head quite easily.
Drake is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Drake is squirming around, avoiding Kid's attempts to control the action.
Kid tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Kid is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Drake can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Kid is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Drake is surviving well by controlling Kid's body position as best he can.
Kid is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Drake to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Drake shrugs it off.

Kid can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Drake is looking to escape.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Kid jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle. Ooooh, that looks tight Drake is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Drake and Kid has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Drake throws a hook but Kid blocks it.
Drake slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Kid is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Drake can do to turn this around?

Kid changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Kid goes for a double leg but Drake avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Drake continues to drive forward.

Drake breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Drake throws out a loose jab but Kid uses good head movement to avoid it.

Kid is fighting to break Drake's control of his arms but Drake is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Kid feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
