The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Somer lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
It looks like Owen Savage has been cut.
The fighters circling - Somer throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Nice defenses there by Savage.
A big left from Somer misses.
And Savage responds with a good body kick, but Somer manages to step out the way in time.
Somer throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Somer misses with an uppercut
and Savage counters with a leg kick.
Trouble Somer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Somer comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Somer steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Savage.
Savage looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Somer lands a jab.
Somer throws the left hand but Savage avoids the punch easily.
Savage lands a slapping body shot.
Somer lunges at Savage with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Savage's hand.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Somer digs a good hook to Savage's body.

Somer lands with an overhand left.
Savage misses with a body punch
and Somer counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Savage throws a nice inside leg kick.

and Savage counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Savage uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Somer.
Somer throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Savage counters with a stiff right hand.
Somer tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Savage feints with a left and delivers a massive head kick! Somer collapses like a ragdoll! Game over!
