PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Wu Hu (ranked 3235 p4p, 3626 weight class) and Danilo Zoric (ranked 340 p4p, 374 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hu throws a lazy uppercut
and Zoric cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

It looks like Wu Hu has been cut.
Hu definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Hu rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Zoric moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Hu shoots for a double leg takedown but Zoric sprawls well. He's pushed Hu's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Zoric uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Hu.
Zoric is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Wu Hu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hu throws a big shot that misses.

Hu closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Zoric quickly recovers to half guard.

Hu is working for a guillotine from mount but Zoric frees his head quite easily.

Hu is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Zoric is surviving well by controlling Hu's body position as best he can.
Hu lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Hu is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Zoric.

Zoric really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hu. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Zoric not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Hu postures up in Zoric's guard and throws a big left but Zoric blocks it.
Hu controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Hu drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hu jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That was a close second round but I would say that Wu Hu will probably get the nod.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Some bone on bone action there as Zoric checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
