Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Eduardo Chavez (ranked 2647 p4p, 2974 weight class) and Vincent Duboulay (ranked 195 p4p, 217 weight class). Duboulay is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Fire. Eduardo Chavez has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duboulay has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Chavez finds it's way round the side to connect with Duboulay's head.

Chavez tries to sprawl but Duboulay drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Chavez wants to get back to full guard.
Duboulay wants to take a breather but Chavez is having none of it.
Chavez preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.

Duboulay is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Chavez doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Duboulay.
Chavez is trying to maintain the position but Duboulay is very close to passing his half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The fighters are battling for position here. Chavez manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Chavez working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Duboulay doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Chavez is tightening it up a little... Duboulay has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Duboulay reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Duboulay taps out! Nice BJJ there by Chavez!
