Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vargas throws a right hand that misses
and Haytum counters with a left and a right that stings Vargas.
Vargas connects with a good right hand that stumbles Haytum. Haytum circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Haytum fails to land with a series of punches.
Haytum blocks a jab.
Vargas's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Haytum connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Vargas scrambles back to his feet.
Haytum lands a jab to the head.
Vargas sizes up Haytum with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Haytum throws a jab but it's blocked by Vargas.

Vargas cracks Haytum with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Haytum looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Vargas finish him?

Haytum is rocked!

It looks like Drederick Haytum has been cut.
Haytum looks to land a left hand but Vargas moved out of range nicely.
Haytum is still on wobbly legs! Can Vargas finish him?
Haytum displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Vargas throws out the jab.
Haytum looks to land a right hand but Vargas moved out of range.
Vargas definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Vargas shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Haytum takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Vargas sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Haytum bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!
