The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Horiguchi is pushing down on Ferguson's leg trying to pass to half guard. Ferguson is fighting to maintain full guard but Horiguchi has managed to sneak the leg through.

Ferguson's coach down at California Top Team was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Ferguson's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Horiguchi misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Horiguchi looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Ferguson misses with a looping left.
