Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Phoenix Peterson (ranked 1080 p4p, 618 weight class) and Samson Buddha (ranked 137 p4p, 82 weight class). Peterson comes to the cage accompanied by Bulls On Parade- Rage Against the Machine. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Buddha has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Buddha is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Peterson had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Peterson has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Peterson and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

That was a close second round but I would say that Phoenix Peterson will probably get the nod.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
