Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tao Pai (ranked 2981 p4p, 3112 weight class) and Hali Pojka (ranked 328 p4p, 340 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tao Pai!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Hali Pojka!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Winston Alpacca and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pojka shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Pai but Pai pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Pai dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Pojka. That did some damage!
Pai connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Pai leaves Pojka with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Hali Pojka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Pojka is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

The crowd cheers as Pai lands an impressive looking overhand right. Pojka doesn't seem phased though.

Pai cracks Pojka with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Pai is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Pojka looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Pai is fending him off so far but Pojka persists. Nope, Pai circles away and we're back to standing.

Pai lands a nice hook to Pojka's body. Pojka takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Pojka moves forwards but Pai connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Pai buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Pojka on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Nice takedown defense from Pai. No joy for Pojka on that attempt.
A nice inside leg kick there by Pai. That's going to slow Pojka down.
Pai is looking to slow Pojka down with leg kicks.
Pojka fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Pojka shoots in for a double leg but Pai sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Nice uppercut lands for Pai. That snapped Pojka's head back.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Pojka is trying desperately to land a takedown but Pai is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Pojka.

Pai comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Pojka takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Pojka.
Pai feints and then cracks Pojka's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Pojka down.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Hali Pojka's cut.
That's time! Pai's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Pai lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Pojka falls backwards - clearly groggy! Pai dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
