Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Simons gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Simons keeping moving, preventing Ter Hogt from controlling successfully.
Ter Hogt should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Simons looking for a guillotine here but Ter Hogt defends easily.

Ter Hogt drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ter Hogt jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Simons knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ter Hogt on the ground.

Ter Hogt has gone for a leg lock! Simons slips out almost immediately though and dives into Ter Hogt's guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ter Hogt is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Simons drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Ter Hogt manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Simons has Ter Hogt in his guard.

Ter Hogt tries for a kimura but Simons is defending well.

Ter Hogt is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Simons can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
