Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Schoonie Jenkins (ranked 2824 p4p, 3140 weight class) and Sam Owen (ranked 279 p4p, 309 weight class). Owen comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Feel Me Flow - Naughty by Nature kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Owen swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Jenkins swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Owen counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Jenkins throws a hook but Owen blocks it.
Owen fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Jenkins uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Owen.
Owen doesn't manage to clinch there - Jenkins circles away.
We've been told by Jenkins's head coaches at Tycoon Coaching & Sparring that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Jenkins tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A punch combination from Owen misses.
Owen misses with a wild body shot.

Jenkins uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Owen.
Jenkins throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Jenkins misses with a low kick as Owen jumps back.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jenkins lands a jab-cross combination.
Jenkins stalks Owen and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Owen's face. Owen staggers backwards, shaken.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Owen pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Owen closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Owen lands in his opponent's guard.
Owen is looking to work some ground and pound but Jenkins has wrist control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Owen throws a strike but Jenkins rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Owen lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Owen working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Jenkins wants to control but Owen is having none of it.
Owen can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Jenkins is looking to escape.
Jenkins is looking to improve his position but Owen isn't that keen on the idea.
Owen breaks from Jenkins's wrist control and lands an elbow.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Owen cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Owen throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Jenkins wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Owen.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Owen drops a big elbow. That's hurt Jenkins! More shots from Owen and the ref steps in! The fight is over!
