The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daugherty connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Zackrinsen tries to clinch
and Daugherty counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Zackrinsen shoots in for a double leg but Daugherty sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Daugherty scores with a sloppy right hand. Zackrinsen should have avoided that one.
Daugherty displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Zackrinsen.

Daugherty lands a big uppercut and Zackrinsen crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Zackrinsen looks OK. Daugherty waves Zackrinsen back to his feet!

It looks like Berra Zackrinsen has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Daugherty finds Zackrinsen's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Zackrinsen flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Daugherty lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Zackrinsen will be OK.
