PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kano Sicarius (ranked 742 p4p, 1772 weight class) and Elvis Milissis (ranked 61 p4p, 133 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Sicarius might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Klendathu Drop. Elvis Milissis has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Elvis Milissis!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, William Gold and Donald Grub.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Milissis throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Sicarius sees it coming and avoids it easily.
We've been hearing reports that Sicarius has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Milissis throws a series of punches but Sicarius avoids them all with ease.
Milissis ducks under a wild hook from Sicarius.

Sicarius shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Milissis manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Milissis looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Sicarius postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Sicarius prevents Milissis from getting back to his feet.

Sicarius is nestled in close to Milissis, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Sicarius looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Milissis with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
