PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Leo Vuce (ranked 1888 p4p, 3479 weight class) and Morello Hawthorne (ranked 139 p4p, 236 weight class). Vuce kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is MC Yankoo. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vuce wants to clinch.
Vuce really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Hawthorne instigates a clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Vuce throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Hawthorne fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Hawthorne jumps into guard, dragging Vuce to the mat.

Vuce postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Hawthorne is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Vuce, into his guard.

Vuce looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Vuce is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Hawthorne has got one arm under Vuce's chin. This could be trouble... Vuce trying to control the other hand but Hawthorne gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Vuce has tapped out! The fight is over!
