Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shah Rokhan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keizou Ishizaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ishizaki has chosen Japanese Rap as his entrance music. Shah Rokhan has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shah Rokhan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Keizou Ishizaki!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, George Francis and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rokhan tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ishizaki sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Rokhan somewhat.
Ishizaki rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rokhan moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Ishizaki misses the jab.
Rokhan wants to clinch.
A head kick misses from Ishizaki.
Rokhan shoots for a takedown but Ishizaki saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Ishizaki misses with a series of wild punches.
Ishizaki takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.


It looks like Shah Rokhan has been cut.
Rokhan will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

It looks like Rokhan is going to stand back up.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Rokhan closes the distance and clinches up with Ishizaki, looking for a takedown. Rokhan pushes Ishizaki against the cage but Ishizaki circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

and Rokhan counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Ishizaki has one foot on Rokhan's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Rokhan tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Ishizaki connects with a good right hand that stumbles Rokhan. Rokhan circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Rokhan shoots in and bounces Ishizaki off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ishizaki throws a hook to the side of Rokhan's head but Rokhan sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Rokhan tries to clinch but Ishizaki moves out of range.

Good leg kick by Rokhan there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

and Rokhan counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Ishizaki!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Rokhan lands with some strikes.
Rokhan can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Ishizaki is looking to escape.
Ishizaki's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Rokhan, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
