Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Malakai Raminov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dirty Undies!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Ivan Kurochkin and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Raminov shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Raminov misses with a two punch combination.
Undies changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Raminov looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
You can see the frustration on Raminov's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Undies is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Raminov will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Raminov is looking for a sweep.

Raminov gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Undies content to control rather than advance.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Undies should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Raminov is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Nice sprawl there from Undies as Raminov shoots in.
Undies throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Raminov throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Undies tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Raminov is in Undies's guard.
Undies is pulling down on Raminov's head. It's preventing any offense from Raminov, at least for the moment.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Undies can do anything to dispel that myth.

Raminov stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Undies throws up his legs and catches Raminov in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Raminov tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Undies! That came out of nowhere!
