Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sss Sss (ranked 23256 p4p, 5866 weight class) and Sss Sss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sss Sss has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 103 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sss Sss!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 96 - 29 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sss Sss!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Tiny Johnson and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Fighter A closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Fighter A lands in his opponent's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Fighter A controlling from the top position.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Fighter B holds on and takes a little breather.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fighter A looking to sit in guard and control but Fighter B gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.


That's one minute gone in the round.
Fighter B postures up.
Fighter B content to stall in guard here.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Fighter A looking to control.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Fighter A shoots in and gets a takedown into Fighter B's guard.
Fighter B has his hands on Fighter A's head, controlling the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Fighter A trying to control but Fighter B is working from the bottom.
Fighter B has Fighter A pulled in close to control his posture.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Fighter B being controlled here, momentarily.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup.
Fighter B has Fighter A pulled in close to control his posture.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Fighter A shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Fighter B as he jumps to the side.
Fighter B is trying to counter with his kicks.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Sss Sss dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Fighter A shoots in looking for a takedown but Fighter B manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Fighter A's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Fighter B throws a fast counter high kick but Fighter A manages to duck under it in time.
Fighter A fails with the takedown
enabling Fighter B to counter with a crisp jab.
Fighter A darts in looking for a takedown but Fighter B gets double underhooks and turns Fighter A into the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sss Sss. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fighter B is looking for a takedown.
Fighter A is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Fighter B is defending well.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Fighter B tries to score a body lock takedown but Fighter A shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Fighter B has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Fighter A avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Fighter B gets underhooks to prevent Fighter A's takedown attempt.
Fighter A is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Fighter B gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Fighter A stops a takedown attempt from Fighter B.

Fighter A pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Fighter A throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Fighter A throws a body kick despite being completely out of range

and Fighter B counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Fighter B is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Fighter A is trying to control the position but Fighter B postures up.
Fighter B sitting in guard, not really doing much.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Fighter A shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Fighter B as he jumps to the side.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Fighter A will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Fighter B raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Fighter B fails with the takedown
and Fighter A counters with a flying knee. Nice.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Sss Sss showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Fighter A closes this distance looking for a takedown but Fighter B circles away.
Fighter B explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.

Fighter A gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Fighter B to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Fighter B postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fighter A is adopting a defensive guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Fighter A wants to sweep but no luck.
Fighter B slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Let's hope that Fighter B has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Fighter B shoots for a double leg takedown but Fighter A sprawls well. He's pushed Fighter B's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Fighter B just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromFighter A.
Fighter B pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Fighter A thinks about countering with a body kick.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
No luck for Fighter B with that takedown attempt.
It looked like Fighter A was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Fighter B.
Fighter A shoots in but Fighter B avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Fighter B feints and as Fighter A raises his hands in defense, Fighter B changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Fighter B's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Fighter A is trying to keep Fighter B in close.
Fighter B seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Fighter A is trying to keep Fighter B in close.

And that's the end of the fight!
Sss Sss comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Fighter B has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
