Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bubba Rolls (ranked 1277 p4p, 910 weight class) and Jisoo Oh (ranked 162 p4p, 121 weight class). Rolls comes to the cage accompanied by Moonshine Bandits - For The Outlawz. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Bubba Rolls!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Jisoo Oh!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Arvi Lind and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oh has his takedown stuffed
enabling Rolls to counter with a crisp jab.

Rolls moves into the clinch successfully.

Rolls pulls guard effortlessly.
Rolls trying to keep a closed guard but Oh is proving a slippery customer.
Oh being controlled here momentarily.

Oh avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Oh trying to control the position from guard on top but Rolls is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rolls avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Rolls pulls Oh in close to prevent any damage.

Oh tries to free his leg and advance position but Rolls is retaining full guard.
Rolls seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.

Oh stands up over Rolls, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Oh throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Rolls works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Rolls is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Oh stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rolls swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Oh wants to control from the top but Rolls keeps moving.

Oh drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Oh jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Oh lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Rolls manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Oh manages to get himself to full guard.

Rolls wants to pass the guard but Oh is keeping the position.
Oh is wriggling around but Rolls manages to pass to half guard.

Rolls throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Rolls is looking for a kimura here.
Oh regains full guard. Nicely done.
Oh wants to sweep here but Rolls controlling him for the moment.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Oh not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Rolls preventing the sweep.
Oh preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Oh lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Oh throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Rolls looking to hit a scissor sweep but Oh is one step ahead there.

Rolls escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Oh gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Rolls tries to land a sweep but no joy.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Bubba Rolls dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Rolls throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A jab from Rolls finds it's way through Oh's defenses.
Oh misses with a body shot.
Oh takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Oh does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Rolls lands a jab to the head.
Bubba Rolls seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rolls misses with an uppercut

and Oh counters with a shoot takedown. Rolls fights it but they end up in guard.
Oh has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Rolls escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Oh gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rolls not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Oh working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.
Oh postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Oh trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Oh won't allow Rolls to sweep him here.

Rolls wants to lay and pray for a moment but Oh keeps working.
Oh keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Oh is looking for a sweep. Rolls is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Oh trying to hold on to Rolls's head to control him but Rolls postures up.
Oh tries to roll over but Rolls keeps him under control.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Oh won't allow Rolls to pass to mount.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Jisoo Oh will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Rolls throws a nice inside leg kick.
Oh moves out of range of the strikes.
Oh throws a right and a left that both miss.
Rolls throws a lazy right hand but Oh sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Rolls scores with a hook to the body. Oh takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Oh misses with an uppercut. Rolls saw that one coming.
Rolls throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Oh sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Oh takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Rolls stuns Oh with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Oh bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Oh throws a jab when Rolls was well out of range.
Good exchange - Rolls coming out on top.
Rolls lands with a right hand.

Rolls rushes Oh and presses him up against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Oh blocks a body shot from Rolls.
Oh fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Oh gets control of Rolls's arms and successfully pulls guard. Oh will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Rolls is fighting to break Oh's control of his arms but Oh is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Oh can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Rolls controls the pace.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Rolls got a little sloppy there for a moment and Oh has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Rolls has managed to get both his arms back between Oh's legs - danger averted.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Rolls accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Oh is trying to control the position from the bottom.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Rolls lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Rolls punishes Oh's body with a nice straight punch.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Oh tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Rolls looks to land a left hand but Oh moved out of range nicely.
Bubba Rolls is winning the standup battle so far.
Oh swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Rolls was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

And that's the end of the fight!
Bubba Rolls showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Rolls has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
