Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Papi Chichilla!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Flash Evans!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Steve Smith and William Peck.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evans goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

It looks like Papi Chichilla has been cut.
Evans looks to land a combination but Chichilla avoids it well.
Chichilla looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Chichilla throws the left hand but Evans avoids the punch easily.
Evans's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Chichilla connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Evans scrambles back to his feet.

Chichilla gets tackled into the cage by Evans. Evans maintains the clinch.
Evans blocks an uppercut.

Evans breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Chichilla throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Evans sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Chichilla jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Evans takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
A big right from Chichilla misses.
Chichilla connects with a right that clearly hurt Evans. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Chichilla proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Evans collapses and taps out under the pressure!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Papi Chichilla!
After winning the bout, Papi Chichilla thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
