Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Chance Apples (ranked 4112 p4p, 4605 weight class) and Prince Hippo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Apples ducks right into an uppercut from Hippo.
Hippo uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Hippo cracks a nice hook into Apples's ribs.
Apples takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
A decent looking cross lands there for Hippo.

Apples uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hippo.
Apples lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hippo circles away quickly and effectively.
Hippo connects with a right hand. Apples shakes it off.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Apples tries to clinch up
and Hippo counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Nice takedown defense from Hippo. No joy for Apples on that attempt.
Hippo lunges at Apples with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Apples's hand.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Apples tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Hippo just stands there and leans against the cage.

Apples tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Apples works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Hippo is controlling Apples's posture.

Apples drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Apples jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup.
Apples could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Apples drops his hands momentarily and Hippo takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Apples is rocked!
Apples tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Hippo manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Hippo cracks Apples with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Oh Apples is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Apples is breathing heavily.
Apples leaves his chin hanging out and Hippo seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Apples crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
