Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hamilton moves into the clinch.
Hamilton drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Gomi gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Hamilton pulls guard successfully.
Gomi won't allow Hamilton to sweep him here.
Gomi knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hamilton on the ground.
Hamilton is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Gomi is aware though and is defending well.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hamilton escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Gomi gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Gomi would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Gomi is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Hamilton has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Gomi is looking to defend but Hamilton has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Gomi! Hamilton pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Gomi taps out and this one is all over!
