Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hidori Fugikama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and leandro piredda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fugikama comes to the cage accompanied by tokyo nights. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fugikama gets the takedown into side control.
piredda can't do much from the bottom here.
Fugikama tries to stand but piredda is controlling his head.
piredda tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Fugikama wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
piredda sneaks back into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fugikama tries to stand but can't do so whilst piredda controls his leg.
Fugikama stands up from half guard.
piredda scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
piredda rushes Fugikama and presses him up against the cage.

piredda tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Fugikama smiles and moves away.
The fight stays on the outside here - piredda looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
piredda shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Fugikama's guard.
Fugikama wants to get back to his feet but piredda is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
piredda decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Fugikama, up you get!
Fugikama is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
piredda shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Fugikama counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
piredda is looking to escape.
Fugikama tries to stand but can't do so whilst piredda controls his leg.
piredda wants to get back to full guard.
piredda gets back to full guard.
Fugikama knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for piredda on the ground.
piredda has a closed guard, preventing Fugikama from standing up.

piredda trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

and Fugikama counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Fugikama.
Hidori Fugikama has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of leandro piredda.
piredda controls Fugikama momentarily but Fugikama frees himself.
piredda looking for a guillotine here but Fugikama defends easily.
Fugikama wants to stand but piredda has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

piredda is trying to control the position but Fugikama postures up.
Fugikama won't allow piredda to get back to his feet.
piredda controls Fugikama momentarily but Fugikama frees himself.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

piredda had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Fugikama is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. piredda Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Fugikama's back instead.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Fugikama wants to get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but leandro piredda will probably get the nod.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Fugikama blocks a head kick by piredda.
Fugikama bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
piredda is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
piredda is looking to reverse the position.
piredda is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Fugikama asserts his dominance and retains side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fugikama stands up.
Fugikama feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Fugikama is posturing up here but piredda has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Fugikama tries to roll out but it's too tight and Fugikama has to tap! Slick submission there by piredda!
