Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Two Kickman (ranked 3315 p4p, 3114 weight class) and Salamanteri Salamies (ranked 342 p4p, 330 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Two Kickman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Salamanteri Salamies!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salamies takes a kick to the side of the head.

It looks like Salamanteri Salamies has been cut.

Kickman definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Kickman knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Salamies on the ground.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Salamies is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Kickman knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kickman stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Salamies swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Salamies drops back, looking for a kneebar! Kickman looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Kickman looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Kickman!

Kickman seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Salamies does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Kickman postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Kickman stays in close to Salamies's body and controls the position.
Kickman throws a strike but Salamies rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

Kickman's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Kickman duly obliges.
Salamies takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Kickman explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Kickman lands with a kick to the temple. Salamies shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Salamies fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Salamies fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kickman avoids it really well and circles away.
Salamies takes a kick to the side of the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kickman lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

and Salamies counters with a single leg into guard. Kickman didn't expect that.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Salamies is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Kickman will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Salamies has hold of Kickman's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Kickman tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Salamies cranks the arm and Kickman screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Kickman, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
