The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Richards shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Let's hope that Richards has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Richards shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Richards was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
The referee asks Richards politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Richards prefers to stall for the moment though.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Richards is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Winner has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

Billy Richards showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Winner's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Richards shoots in and bounces Winner off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Richards manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Winner on his heels. He'll look to pass Winner's guard now, I'm sure.

Winner has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Richards can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Billy Richards comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Richards has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
