The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rahim swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Juarez.
Juarez takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Juarez fails to land the takedown.
Juarez shoots in for a takedown but Rahim shows good takedown defense.
Rahim looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Rahim leaves Juarez with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Elix Juarez. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Rahim shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Juarez's guard.
Juarez has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Rahim controls from within his opponent's guard.

Rahim is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Juarez has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Rahim is looking to defend but Juarez has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Rahim! Juarez pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Rahim taps out and this one is all over!
