Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Abraham Barnes (ranked 22237 p4p, 2315 weight class) and Roberto Congo (ranked 433 p4p, 248 weight class). Abraham Barnes had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 186.1lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Roberto Congo is staring across the ring at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Congo moves into the clinch.
Barnes swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Congo.

Congo lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Barnes blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Congo stalls.
Barnes's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Barnes tries to clinch there but Congo circles away.
Congo thumps Barnes with a low kick.

We've been informed that Congo has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Congo throws a nice looking combination but Barnes bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Congo goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Barnes feints a jab promting Congo to slip. Barnes then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Congo slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Barnes thows a leg kick but Congo checks it
and Congo counters with a stiff right hand.
Barnes is rocked!
Congo scores with a spinning back kick!
Oh Barnes is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Barnes is breathing heavily.
Barnes leaves his chin hanging out and Congo seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Barnes crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

Roberto Congo decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
