Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Snake (ranked 2263 p4p, 3069 weight class) and Santa Cruz (ranked 297 p4p, 368 weight class). Santa Cruz will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cruz smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Snake has closed the distance and engaged Cruz in a clinch.
Snake is trying to pull guard but Cruz has him pressed against the cage.
Snake has been working on his balance at LazyFighters Gym - Island Boys, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Cruz.

Snake has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Cruz uses from the top position.
