Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Khabib Mebab (ranked 3801 p4p, 2336 weight class) and Lindsey Wofford (ranked 245 p4p, 167 weight class). Mebab comes to the cage accompanied by Some. Khabib Mebab had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 146.5lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lindsey Wofford!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Richard Clark and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wofford scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Mebab doesn't seem bothered though.
Mebab has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Mebab tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Khabib Mebab seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wofford pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

and Wofford counters with a stiff right hand.
Wofford throws a hook to the side of Mebab's head but Mebab sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Mebab tries to counter with a takedown but Wofford is quick to defend against it.
Mebab throws a lazy right hand but Wofford sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

and Wofford counters with a stiff right hand.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mebab gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Wofford gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Mebab is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lindsey Wofford!
