Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mike Miami (ranked 4976 p4p, 4392 weight class) and Eja Igwe (ranked 284 p4p, 268 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Eja Igwe!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Bart Greer and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Igwe ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Igwe looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Igwe misses with a straight right.
Nice defenses there by Igwe.
Miami definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Miami scores with a nice right hand.
Miami throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Mike Miami seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Miami throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Igwe avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Miami gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Igwe.

Igwe tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Miami was well out of range. Poor timing from Igwe.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Igwe moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Miami throws a hook but Igwe blocks it.

Igwe loads up on a big right hand but Miami slips the punch.
Miami is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Igwe.

Miami is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Igwe throws a looping overhand right but Miami ducks down to avoid it.

Igwe slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Igwe dodges the punch combination from Miami.
Igwe is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Igwe has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Miami finds it's way round the side to connect with Igwe's head.
Igwe throws an overhand right that lands on Miami's shoulder, as Miami tries to avoid the shot.
Nice uppercut there from Miami.
Igwe lands with an uppercut that bounces Miami off the cage and back into range.
Igwe connects with a nice looking jab.
Igwe bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Miami's head backwards.
Good exchange - Miami coming out on top.
Igwe throws a hook to the side of Miami's head but Miami sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Miami throws a looping overhand right but Igwe ducks down to avoid it.
Igwe moves out of range of the strikes.
Igwe connects with a right hand. Miami shakes it off.
Miami throws a lazy right hand but Igwe sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Miami misses with a combination
and Igwe counters with a nice uppercut.
Miami will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A nice side step and Igwe releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
That's three minutes gone in the round.

and Igwe connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Miami is rocked!
Igwe drops Miami with a straight right hand, right on the button! Igwe follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
