Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 28 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Malcolm Rivera!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Seu Braga and Daniel Cesar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Fuentes explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
A nice leg kick lands there from Fuentes.
Rivera tries to land a leg kick but Fuentes saw it coming and moves away.
Fuentes throws a quick counter head kick but Rivera was just out of range.

Rivera takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Rivera appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Fuentes darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Pedro Fuentes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fuentes misses with a hook
and Rivera counters with a good low kick that Fuentes was not able to check.

Rivera was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Fuentes circles away from the clinch attempt
and Fuentes counters with a nice kick to the body.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Fuentes swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Rivera misses with a lunging right hand

and Fuentes counters with a crisp one two that drops Rivera! Fuentes thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Rivera to his feet! Rivera is in big trouble!
Fuentes throws the left hand but Rivera avoids the punch easily.
Fuentes definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Some bone on bone action there as Rivera checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Rivera avoids a kick to the body.
Rivera was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Fuentes throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

and Fuentes counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Rivera! He's just covering up as Fuentes starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
