These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 16 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tinashe Chukwuma!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Felipe Paraventi and Daniel Cesar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A thudding body kick lands there by Thomas !
Thomas is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Chukwuma.
Chukwuma misses the body punch
and Thomas counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Chukwuma checks the leg kick nicely there.
We've been informed that Chukwuma has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Chukwuma takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Chukwuma throws a hook to the side of Thomas 's head but Thomas sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Thomas tries to land a front kick but Chukwuma steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Chukwuma appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.

Thomas takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

and Thomas counters with a nice body shot.
Thomas throws a body shot but no joy.

and Thomas counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

It looks like Tinashe Chukwuma has been cut.
Chukwuma rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Thomas counters with a left and a right... And another left! Chukwuma is down! He's done! The ref dives in to save him and that's the end of the fight!
