The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Bandito leaves Sulvar with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Sulvar shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Sulvar misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Enamorado Bandito has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tres Sulvar.

Sulvar closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Sulvar lands in his opponent's guard.

Sulvar has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bandito is working away from the top position though.

Sulvar is refusing to be controlled, as Bandito sits in half guard.

Bandito's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Bandito seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Sulvar for as long as he can get away with.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Sulvar can't escape the position.
Bandito trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
Bandito has the hooks in. Sulvar is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

What can Sulvar do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

We've been hearing good reports from Bandito's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Bandito really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Sulvar.
