The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Archer dives in and grabs Schaubi's left leg, looking for a takedown. Schaubi pushes down on Archer's head and hops out.
Schaubi rushes Archer and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.
Archer drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Schaubi successfully pulls guard.
Schaubi is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
We've been hearing good reports from Archer's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Schaubi is trying to control the position but Archer postures up.

Schaubi is looking to cinch up a triangle. Archer throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Schaubi's body to avoid the submission. Schaubi has instead reached around Archer's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Schaubi arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
