Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Global Warming (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nerubian Assasin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Warming kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Forever-Travis Barker Remix. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A decent looking cross lands there for Assasin.
Warming moves out of range as Assasin strikes.
Warming swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Assasin throws a looping overhand right but Warming ducks down to avoid it.
A punch combination from Warming misses.
Assasin throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Warming sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Warming throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Warming shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Assasin defends it nicely.
Assasin dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Assasin stands up from Warming's guard - Assasin perhaps looking for a knockout.

Assasin drops Warming with a right and a left! Assasin comes rushing in but Warming regains his composure and manages to keep Assasin in guard.
Oh Warming is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Warming has his foot on Assasin's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Assasin works his way back into a safe position though.
Warming seems to have got his legs back now.
Warming is breathing heavily.

Assasin is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Warming gets his way!

Warming goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Assasin is on top in guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Assasin might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Assasin throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Warming uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Assasin.
Global Warming is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Assasin throws the left hand but Warming avoids the punch easily.

Assasin throws a hook to the side of Warming's head but Warming sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Warming looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
Assasin fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Warming manages to avoid it.

Warming changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Assasin looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Warming is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Assasin knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Warming drops back, looking for a kneebar! Assasin looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Assasin looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Assasin!
